Stripe integration is typically set up for clients who want to charge customers for paid memberships or sell event tickets through Litecard.
This guide shows you how to set up and prepare a Stripe account to accept payments through Litecard.
Before starting, you need to create your Stripe account and set up a “product” inside the Stripe dashboard. Once you do that, you’ll get a special price ID. This ID is the key part you’ll put into the Litecard pass template. It’s what makes it possible for people to pay right inside their mobile wallet pass (called an “in-wallet payment”).
By following these steps, you can give your customers a secure and easy way to pay directly from their Litecard mobile pass.
Create a Stripe account
Here are the steps to create your Stripe account:

| 1. Go to the Stripe website: https://stripe.com/ |
2. Click the Sign In button. |
3. Click the option to create an account. |
4. Choose your preferred account creation method (manual sign-up or via Google). Note: Both sign-up options will take you to the Stripe account setup after you finish registering. |
5. (If you choose manual) Fill out the registration form and press the Create account button. |
6. (Optional) Fill out your business information. |
7. (Optional) Choose your business payment type. |
8. Choose what you plan to use Stripe for (e.g., ‘Accept payments’). |
9. Click the Go to Sandbox button to finish setting up your business information. |
| 10. Congratulations! Your Stripe account is now ready to use. (Don’t forget to verify your Stripe account using the email Stripe sends to your inbox.)  |
Great! You have created your own Stripe account and are now ready to make the product items that can be integrated into your pass signup form.
The pass signup form is the registration form that can be used directly or embedded into your business website.
After the integration with your business’s signup form is complete, you can receive payment for your product items from the passed signup form. Payment processing would be handled by Stripe.
Create an item in the Stripe dashboard
A Stripe product item is like the product that people will pay for through the pass signup form. The product items may include event tickets, subscriptions, entrance ticket passes, restaurant eating tickets, and any kind of product items in business cases.
Please note that a one-pass signup form can only be integrated with one product item from Stripe.
Please follow the steps below to create the product item in Stripe, which can be used in the Litecard signup form :

| 1. Log in to your Stripe dashboard. (If you don’t have access, ask a developer to add you to the company’s Stripe account.) |
2. Activate “test-mode” in the dashboard. |
3. Open the Product Catalog and press Create new product. |
4. Fill name, description, and price only then choose one-off product type  |
5. Find the catalog you just created and click on it. |
6. Find the product you created inside the catalog and copy the price ID. |
| 7. Save the price ID. You’ll need this later to connect the product to your pass template. (IMPORTANT) |
Integrate the Stripe product into your sign-up form
Once you’ve built your product in Stripe, you can go ahead and create pass templates and signup forms inside Litecard’s dashboard. When finished, you will need to connect the Stripe product to your pass template is through a technical process (an API). The Litecard development team will handle this part for you – get in touch via hello@litecard.com
When the integration is complete, the signup form page can be used directly or embedded into a partner’s website.

To integrate the payment into your pass template, the price ID is necessary.
Please provide the price ID you saved to the Litecard developer team. They will process the integration for you.
